Boswellia trees grow in African and Arabian regions, including Yemen, Oman, Somalia, and Ethiopia. Frankincense oil promotes healthy cell regeneration and keeps existing cells and tissues healthy. It’s useful for skin health, and can help treat dry skin, reverse signs of aging, and reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars. As a Cytophylactic , Frankincense Oil promotes regeneration of healthy cells and also keeps the existing cells and tissues healthy. When you combine this aspect of frankincense oil with its powerful astringent capabilities, you have a potent anti-aging quality that frankincense oil is often used for. It can help you to eliminate sun spots, remove micro-wrinkles around the eyes and cheeks, and generally tone and tighten skin all over your body, while simultaneously replacing old or dying cells with new, healthy ones! CAFFEINE: Applying caffeine to the face is effective in three ways: as a vascoconstrictor, an anti-inflammatory, and an antioxidant. Its firming and tightening properties make it a desirable additive to any anti-aging product. Because of caffeine's ability to constrict the veins, it can be used to reduce dark circles as well as diminish red, blotchiness caused by spider veins. Caffeine possesses anti-inflammatory properties which make it effective in reducing puffiness around the eyes. Caffeine fights the free radicals that cause premature aging that result in wrinkles, sun spots and loss of elasticity. Added CAFFEINE will improve the overall appearance of your skin. Hazelnut oi l: Acts as an excellent emollient and moisturizer because it has a number of essential fatty acids such as linoleic acid, which can rehydrate the skin. So, this oil is extensively used in treating dry skin. Moreover, this oil is very light and easily gets absorbed into the skin. This oil is suitable for all and nourishes all types of skin. It is particularly good for sensitive skin. This oil is best suited for those with oily skin as the moisturizing property of hazelnut keeps the skin free from excessive secretions. Also, the astringent properties in the oil tightens the pores and so limits the oil secretions, thus helping to maintain clean and clear skin. Just a drop or two of hazelnut oil is enough to take care of your skin. Hazelnut oil can be used as sunscreen as it is able to filter all the harmful rays of the sun. Because of this most sunscreens contain hazelnut oil. For stronger effect you can mix this oil with sesame oil, avocado oil, and walnut oil. Another way to utilize the benefits of hazelnut oil is to mix a drop of this oil in any of your daily cream and lotion, which can then act as the best sun guard. Like most of other carrier oils, hazelnut oil is also a rich source of vitamin E. The anti-oxidant properties of this vitamin helps in solving many of the problems associated with ageing. Free radicals cause the maximum amount of damage like the destruction of cells and chapped skin. Regular application of hazelnut oil is able to reverse this process by eliminating the free radicals. Hazelnut Milk: Has been called the “pore-reducing” oil and “acne-fighting” oil because of its unique properties. A high content of catechins and tannins (healthy flavonoids) make this oil a “dry” or “astringent” oil that feels smooth and toning on the skin. Hydrating: Even though the oil helps absorb and balance sebum (skin oil), it also has a lot of natural fats that help moisturize and condition skin, leaving it soft and plump, while helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Yet it never feels greasy UV protection: Hazelnut oil is one of those natural oils that offer a mild protection from damaging UV rays You still need hats and sunscreen, but hazelnut provides additional protection. You may find that some natural-based sunscreens contain hazelnut oil. If you want to make your own sunscreen, you can mix hazelnut, sesame, avocado, and walnut oil together. Antioxidant protection: You may have read about how some ingredients in our over-the-counter sunscreens can actually activate free radical damage when they come into contact with the sun. Wearing natural antioxidants like hazelnut oil can give your skin the extra protection it needs to make sunscreen even more effective. Gentle: Hazelnut is perfect for sensitive skin, as it is a gentle oil that is unlikely to irritate. Rejuvenating: Because of all the nutrients, flavonoids, and antioxidants, hazelnut has a rejuvenating effect on skin cells. Over time, regular use will have an anti-aging effect, helping skin to appear more youthful and vibrant. Hazelnut Milk Contains high levels of linoleic acid – an essential fatty acid which is involved in maintaining the integrity of the outer layer of the skin. Phytosterols are also there. Plant-based sterols, which are highly penetrative, can be converted to Vitamin D, and can help resolve damage, reduce inflammation, increase water retention and moisturize skin. In hair products they can help condition hair strands and reduce static.Hazelnut oil is therefore an effective skin tonic and moisturizer. Its astringent properties tighten skin tone, regenerate cells and strengthen surface capillaries. Avocado Oil Avocados are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E, and can provide skin with deep moisture. The oil of an avocado is able to penetrate the skin because of its thin consistency. Avocado oil is one of the more deeply penetrating oils. It gets down into the deeper epidermis layers and helps to fix moisture into the skin. This makes it great for plumping out fine lines and dealing with dehydrated skin, as well as softening rough skin. Even though it feels thick, if used properly, it fully absorbs and doesn't leave an oily residue. The fatty acids are also similar to the skin's own sebum and are non-clogging. -It is rich in vitamins B, C, D, E, K and, especially, A (like a natural retinol alternative, increasing cell-turnover), as well as potassium, lecithin, and chlorophyll. -It has a high sterolin content. Sterolins are compounds which are anti-inflammatory and immune modulating. In the case of avocado oil, they can help heal sun damage and age spots, as well as inflammatory skin conditions like blemishes and eczema. -It has been shown to increase the amount of soluble collagen in the skin and improve wound healing. This translates to better skin repair and anti-aging benefits, as well as better elasticity and thicker, more resilient skin.
